Just going to buy a Canon 20D tomorrow. I know it comes with Photoshop Elements. Will that be adequate for me for learning or should I upgrade straight to CS2 and learn that?? Just not sure what's missing in elements/what limitations it has???

Stick with Elements and enjoy the camera for a while, when you find you can't do something... that's the time to upgrade.

My thoughts exactly. I don't have Elements but I'm sure it will plenty to keep you busy for a long time!

I have just bought elements. So far its superb. Still playing though so just gettting the hang of layers. There is a lot more to get tha hang of as well. Whilst looking for tutorials and tips etc it does become clear that it is a cut down version but still quite powerful.

Elements is perfectly good for 99% of things.

CS is great though, but given it's cost, I'd personally spend the money on lenses.
