Anyone else got a 440i GC M Sport with electric seats that don't have lumbar adjustment?

I have researched most on line stuff, including the BMW UK 'How Do I' YouTube page but I've yet to find any other seat without lumbar. Even the owner's manual says nothing about 'depending on your spec' etc.

'Tis a mystery.

Perhaps I've just got one that someone forgot to tick the option box.

You had me thinking there!
Had to go out and have a look ☺

My car is almost vanilla - just towbar and digital display.
Standard electric seats - with lumbar on the 2 black buttons aft of the backrest adjust button.
Never used it ☺

Mine's got a few options, but no lumbar support.

I can move the side bolsters in and out, but can't choose how I want to support my back! biggrin

It’s definitely an option on 4 series as I briefly considered one and used it as a filter on AUC site. I reckon 30-40 % had it.

Seems like I'm not alone, I can adjust everything except the thing I need most! Baffling spec. Oh well, you live and learn. Should have thought about this before I bought it.

I’ve seen people with the adjustable lumbar support not able to get comfy with it, and have been fine in non-lumbar adjustable seats.

I’ve tended to find BMW seats are best without it if they’re firm seats.

If they’re soggy seats then they’re better with it.

The side bolster things are a load of crap, whoever thought they were useful is an idiot... great I’m sure I’m a high performance car with seats that are otherwise perfect, and get things absolutely spot on... but in say my 130i they’re a joke. Seats like a bouncy castle but hey, let’s put adjustable bolsters in. Gimmick.
