Getting a creak and rattle from the roadster roof when on the odd occasion it is up and the seal does not seem tight against the windscreen when locked ( I can feel air on passenger side).
Any ideas how to tighten so seal more effective.
Will it work if I tighten the with the Allen key as used in the manual closing procedure.
Help and advice please.

how old is your roadster? there might be wear in the closing latch mechanism. The allen key is a devil of a job to tighten btw.

2007 with 30k on the clock.
Do you think the Allen key tightening will help.

Not sure about the Allen key but Gummi Pflege Stift may help improve rubber seals

certainly no harm in trying the allen key but don't force it, it is easy to thread it. If it does close the roof further then there is a problem with the closing mechanism, probably a 2 man job with the key, one to turn the key one to push the roof down. good luck.

The roof locking mechanism consists of a central motor which drives the catches via flexible shafts, one of the flexible drives may be bad or the latch mechanism itself.

Latching motor with shafts running to catches.

Auto catch
The flex cable from the motor turns a threaded rod, the square grey block then moves from side to side pulling the gold colored cranked bar, this in turn presses down on the black mechanism via the roller bearing causing the catch to rotate locking the roof down.

To accesses the motor and flex cables.

Half open roof and support tonneau and roof, remove 8 screws along front of header.

Remove two screws either end.

Release 4 clips securing header to roof.

Hi,
Front rubber seal on my DB9 Volante roof has come out of place for the last few inches on the driver's side. Cannot seem to push it back into place. Does anyone know if this involves major dismantling or should it simply push back into place? Thanks for interest. Peter
