Don't know about that 1 in particular. Not sure I like the idea of electric power for it.

But I often use this https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/pela-6000-6l-oil-f... or similar and have no real complaints. Other than some vehicles seem to lose the vacuum more than others and need to be re vacummed a few times to ensure they are fully drained. Also bear in mind if the tube gets damaged it loses its ability to keep vacuum, so don't force it past stubbon obstacles etc, and store it sensibly.

Quite a few cars out there with no sump plugs fitted so this type of system has to be used.

Used to be sceptical of vacuum versus conventional gravity draining. But having stripped a few enggnes, removed sumps etc, they are an effective system.

Drawbacks, cold oil can take (really) ages to pull out, so always have the engine warm 1st.

O/T - I’m interested to know what cars have no sump plugs fitted?

Pela p6000 as mentioned.

Gets all the oil out of my cars. I tested it once by dropping the sump plug after using it, no oil left in sump. Worth every penny.

The same pump is a fraction of that price at Aldi / Lidl wink

yep, looks exactly the same as the Lidl pump. The only issue I've found is the thin pipe is no good for getting to the bottom of the sump. I presume this is because it's too flexible. I stretched it over an old pushbike brake cable outer and found that a huge improvement but it's a bit too narrow. Still haven't found the ideal tube but keep forgetting to sort it.

Paying the money to a mechanic as suggested above is all well and good but if the threads tear out of the sump it is going to cost a lot more. Particularly the OP is not technically minded.
