Hi,

I am new to this so forgive me if I have posted in the wrong place but I could do with a little help...

A couple of years ago, my father was admitted to hospital with only days to live and whilst en route to see him, I managed to nip through a Speed camera without noticing and as a result activated it...

Well, I got to say goodbye, and shortly afterwards, went to work abroad for 12 months...

Last year, I was involved in an incident with another vehicle and in the process of reporting the matter to the insurance company, a conference call was held with DVLA, and I was advised that I had been clobbered for going through the camera, and not giving the drivers details of my car. I received 6 points and a fine... I was in rented accommodation at the time so the new occupants did not forward anything on to me...

Now the speeding bit I accept, as I was... But now I find that because I now have 6 points I failed to declare on my insurance the previous year, as I was totally unaware of the conviction until the conference call, the Insurance company is considering cancelling my insurance and or not renewing....

My question is...

Does anyone know of a good insurance broker who can help me to obtain insurance and keep legal?

My insurance is due for renewal in three weeks time and I want to get things sorted out sooner rather than later...

I have tried googling but have a massive list of insurance brokers to call who I have no idea if they can help, but thought I would try you guys here to see if you can recommend anyone.

Thanks in advance.

TechBod.

Of one for us I’m afraid.

I’d try Pace Ward, owner is Insbro on here. Failing that Adrian flux
