That Leven button will become extremely weak if you cut the middle out of it. I'd be very very careful, although it should look good once installed.
Perhaps a better option might be to get a couple of replacements from Maplin, file the cylindrical plastic bit off one of them (leaving the circular end), stick the leven button over your hazard switch (the one in the car that you've just removed), drill the centre out, and stick the bit you chopped off the Maplin button into the hole you drilled? With a bit of filing you'd be able to get it in place.

Thinking of sexing up the hazard light switch by cutting out the indented middle section of a Leven button cover (the ones for the lights). Anyone else done this? If so, any suggestions on how to do this without ballsing up the first 2 on a prectise run? Cheers.
Just stick the Leven one on as is....sorted !!
