Hi,

Not been on for ages, but hoping for a few ideas...

I've owned my Boxster S for almost 14 years now and still love it, I now do very little mileage (about 5 - 6K per year) and have always previously had Michelin Pilot Sport tyres (I'm on 19 inch wheels).

I'm looking for something a little easier on the pocket and have got quotes for just over £600 for Goodyear Asymetrics, about £50 more for Bridgestone Potentzas, the Pilot Sports would be about £150 more. My driving is closer to "Driving Miss Daisy" than Lewis Hamilton so not too worried about absolute performance, but don't want to go too cheap either.

Any feedback? Anyone else done similar and did you notice any difference?.

Cheers,
Mike.

GY F1s are very good and have the lowest noise rating, which is nice

Vredestein Ultrac Vortis are very similar (or even slightly better than) PS2s IMO. However No first hand experience of them on a Porsche!

Cayman 981 on my 2nd pair of GY F1 rears. First pair lasted around 25k and never let me down in my daily driver.
F1 fronts still good at 29k miles.
