Spring is here and it is time to get the cerb rolling again but.....
First the was battery flat, even though it was connected to a battery maintenance unit.
After fixing that the fob turns on/off the alarm, but the door and boot will not open. I tried everything including connecting/disconnecting battery, pressing and hold fob button ect.
I tried to pull the manual door opener but the cable broke
Now I'm trying to use jumpers on the door/window control box. This used to work but not this time arround. Only the jumper for boot release works (which doesn't help as I already got assess to the boot).
The car seems locked even though the alarm bilps as it normally does and the red led indicator in the back window turns on/off when the remote/fob is pressed.
Please help or suggest solutions as I can't get into the car at present.
Hope to hear from you soon.......

Have you tried disconnecting the whole door and window control unit, leaving it a few seconds then reconnecting it?
That normally sorts my entry issues.
Thanks for the suggestion, but "yes" I have also tried to disconnect the 4 plugs on the control unit and leave it for 10min, before conneting them again - but it didn't work That normally sorts my entry issues.

More suggestions are very welcome as I don't really know what to do

After disconnecting the battery try shorting the car's +ve and -ve together
After reconnecting check for a voltage drop when operating the immobiliser
If there is any significant drop, make sure the battery charger is connected when operating the immobiliser or replace the battery with a known good battery
Good luck

Sorry for being an dummy
Just to be clear: I have to shorting/connect the two wires (black and red) from the battery ( obviously after they have been disconnected from the battery)?
Do I have to press and hold the button on the fob, when reconnecting to the battery?

Nope, not on mine. When the battery is reconnected it should go into lock mode, just disarm as normal.
