She's back from the dead!!!!!
Discussion
If anyone remembers the saga with my S2 and a certain rolling road, just thought I would let you know she's back from the garage/dead whoohoo!
Luckily enough the damage done was not fatal, I caught it early, so ended up needing new big-end bearings and a new oil pump. Guglielmi in Daventry did the work...and I can highly recommend them, great bunch of guys.
I am now getting over 60psi oil pressure (which is nice), and now horrible rattling noises.
So it looks like I am back on for S Club Heaven..it was looking touch and go for a while.
PS. Thanks for all the tips on getting the sump off, Guglielmi ended up cutting the chassis crossmember, dropping the sump, doing the work, then welding in a new section
