No luck in my traillie hunt, but been offered a very good deal on a 2014 crf450r from someone i know who has looked after it very well, is it still relatively straightforward to register these for the road, or have they cracked down on it?

Still straight forward.

A friend did it with a CRF250 about 3 weeks ago.

Get some pics up!

I had a super-moto-d CRF450R. Its was a bit of an animal and rather high maintainance. When I got it originally it was geared for about 50mph in top and did 9mpg. Wheelies everywhere.

Some work on the sprocket sizes got it up to about 80-odd.

Bit of a moneypit as I kept buying carbon, titanium and Akrapovic for it, however I never dared ride it for fear of getting nicked and it attracted ludicrous amounts of interest from scrotes.

It was mad and made me ride like a tt. It was also very loud and spat flames. I miss it.

still undecided, a nice wr250 just popped up, which I think might be better for carrying a pillion. The crf is tempting though, but a pain with no lights and stand.
