Silverstone F1 Testing - June 2nd
Discussion
Was there last year for the June testing and was a really good day out.
There was testing at Monza the same day but there was nearly a full compliment of teams and drivers. Most teams had two cars running and the only ones teams who were not present were Sauber and Minardi.
But not sure if this years voluntary restrictions on testing will affect the numbers who turn up. Should still be worth going along.

I caught a glimpse of the back of a p/h t-shirt yesterday (Le Mans one).
I guess that was Ben.
What a great day, shame it is never warm at Silverstone...lol.
The sun did come out...... for about 3 minutes, around 4 o'clock!
It WAS a good day though. I managed to sneak into the back of the Renault garage from the paddock - their security was non existant!!
On my way out, a guy asked me what I was doing in their garage without a pass, to which I replied "just leaving....."

I had hospitality in one of the Brooklands suites yesterday - bloody good value it was at £85 +VAT too.
Filled breakfast rolls from 9am, a 2 course lunch, afternoon tea and tea/coffee/juice/water/biscuits all day long.
Paddock parking, pit lane walkabout from 1300-1400 and paddock access from 1400-1700.
You'd have to be very well connected to achieve that on race weekend, so I reckon that made yesterday very good value indeed. I'd highly recommend the package to anyone.
