Ever feel too conspicuous, and wish your drivers seat would swallow you up? There are times when, even though I dont blush, I can almost feel myself blushing :o knowing there are xx people eyeballing you/the car. Sometimes, knowing a gaggle of yoofs are going to walk up to the car, or ask you to rev it.

Usually its fun - but am I alone in ocasionally wishing I had tinted windows all round?

Only once..

I drove into a pedestrianised shopping zone in Berne. By the time I realised what I'd done, the only option was to keep going, much to the annoyance of the locals!!

Blimey that was embarrassing!

I did something similar in Trier (Germany). Had to drive along a bus/tram lane for a bit with lots of people watching. I hot tailed it out of there with a squeal and some revs for the young lads who were looking on wondering where the crazy brit was going.

My exit at the end was along a tram line!!
