T773 KRT Daytona Yellow

Hi,

I'm considering going to view this car with the intention of buying, it's a 4.5 located at a non specialist garage.This would be my first ever TVR, and it is over 200miles from home, so i am a little nervous about the whole process if i'm honest. The internet is full of horror story's about TVR.
I was wondering if anyone had viewed the car, was a previous owner or new of one, or even just had some more knowledgeable insight for me.

Ooh, that's nasty!

Why ruin it with that scoop? As far as I can see it serves no useful purpose.
