Not sure if this is the right forum but I bet I,ll get some answers.
Excuse my naivety but how exactly do the scum bags work their scams.I have viewed on E Bay a dozen or more classic cars advertised by one trader in the Lincoln area
Very very come and get me prices (we all know the adage if it sounds to good )Face Book have posted warnings
So how do they operate

You transfer the money, they agree to deliver, it never turns up. Simple. Plenty people get sucked in by it. Think a gang have recently been done for it.

Was an ITV documentary about it. Ebay scammers.

I thought I was naive
Sorry but can’t imagine parting with £30 - £40 K without having strapped my purchase securely onto the back of my trailer

Allso engines few company’s on eBay offering special prices if you get in touch with them off eBay ! Sounds wrong in many ways . Must be idiots falling for it
