Got caught going in to the city centre last week i needed to make a right turn then went in to bus lane, £30 if i pay it now. The signing is very poor, I didnt see any at all. Is it worth contesting these or pay up?

Probably not.

And more so over 30 quid.

If the signage is not up to standards then yes it is worth it. However you'll need to do some research and give exact details in any appeal, photos etc help. Depends if you think it's worth it for £30.

ETA if you post up a streetview then we can see if we think the signage is poor.

Pepipoo seem to have a a vast knowledge of mosr bus lanes
It could be that the Council letter is fatally flawed as well

I got a bus lane fine at 09:28 or similar a couple of years ago on a Monday
The restriction finished at 09:30










My first reaction was that it was a mistake because I dont ever commute by car

Then the penny dropped - it was Easter Monday and we were driving to meet friends

Naturally I appealed however it was thrown out because the bus lane is active even on bank holidays including Christmas

The only bus route on that road doesnt actually run on bank holidays
