Hi all, has anyone bought an aftermarket distributor..? Are they any good ? They seem to be about a third of the price of having one reconditioned...

From your profile you're very close to Martin the Distributor Doctor. There's no way I'd trust an aftermarket dizzy compared to one he'd build up for you. The dizzy is not a place where I'd skimp.

I had an early 123 distributor on my Healey ( now sold) with no regrets
