lots and lots of proper rain down here in somerset... poor little alfa was throwing up shedloads of steam from splashes onto the exhaust and engine, and that was with me avoiding the worst! respect to the chimera driver and the mgb that were also out in those conditions!

Ive been keeping an eye on the weather and stumbled on this lightning chart, www.islandweather.co.uk/Lightninguk.htm not looking good is it

Just looked at the site. Seems to have missed the 10 lightning strikes I saw in Southport at 4.30ish this afternoon....

It only shows the last hours activity, ive been keeping an eye on it since 12 and ive seen the lightning start in the west then go south west before going back up the country towards Lancashire where there was a load of activity for around an hour, its calmed down now before going south east.
Pretty fascinating really especially when you experiance the storm going over you then pass while watching it all on the screen

Very heavy rain here in Stourbridge today. Pleased to report no leaks whatsoever on return to the car.
