Ok yesterday really...
I drove the car into work, nice bright cold morning and the ice warning light was on. The windscreen was filthy so washed it at the petrol station whilst filling up.

On my car, you can't use the wipers when the ice warning light is on. 12 years I've had that car and never knew that!
Happily worked as soon as the ice light went off.

Really, I also never knew that and I have had Cerberas for 6 years. I'm glad you told me as I would be thinking that is something else to get fixed Lol.

That seems far too advanced for a TVR!

I reckon it's the same old, same old TVR hijinks.

Some electric gremlin has stopped your wipers working as they didn't like the cold. Or even some dodgy electrical connection.

It would be so good if your experience was an advanced gizmo built into the car.

That feature would render the car undriveable in rain/sleet/snow if the ambient temp is < 4c, quite dangerous if you drive into said conditions hehe

Exactly what I thought, this cannot be a deliberate trait.

I seriously though this was an electical fault, but as soon as the ice warning light went off the wipers worked...
Hum, going to have to test the theory with some ice on the sensor, otherwise I'm chasing intermittant wiring faults. Fun.
