Current discounts on Breitling?
Discussion
Breitlings used to be one of my most favourite watches to take apart. They're decent, well made and other than the slanty bracelet and sometimes 'too much going on on the dials', I think they're excellent.
Best place I found to buy them was pawn shops as they appear to be quite frequent inhabitants of such places.
Top tip though; when the wife asks where you're off to don't reply, 'just nipping down the pawn shop to see if there's anything interesting there.'
Breitling Superocean = damned near perfect

So a quick weekend trip to London and looked at some Superoceans and also the new Omega Seamaster 300 Diver.
Impressed with both, the Omega being superior in quality but also £1000 more expensive.
But, enquiring about a discount was met with nothing on the Omega and negligible on the Breitling.
So, I walked away. Was this likely a London problem- too much money walking around?
Sadly there was no time to go outside London and I’m now back at the airport away again.
Any suggestions of where to go? Would rather use an AD than go grey market. I’m sure Hackett will be suggested but as I said would rather deal direct with an AD.

This must be a London thing? head up North for the weekend, and go shopping. Impressed with both, the Omega being superior in quality but also £1000 more expensive.

I'd be very surprised if you didn't get at the very least 10% Discount, i mean 20% is surely possible with some negotiation (in my experience)
Keep trying.
Keep an eye on your local Beaverbrooks. They do have discounted Breitlings occasionally but you have to be quick. Two years ago I walked away to 'think about it' returned the next day and it was sold. Last year I did the same mistake and again it was sold but they checked national stock and there were 3 left in the country at other stores. £50 deposit and they got one to my local store. Avenger II GMT reduced from just under 3 grand to £1950 !! (Rubber diver strap but now changed for leather).Think it was around June/July time both years when they have their sale. Good luck.
