So I found the reason it wont start, however. Too me it looks like its melted off instead of just simple corrosion. What could cause this?? A fuse? The power cable? The battery?? Can someone please help.

Looks like someone has left that terminal point loose- poor connection caused it to overheat to the point of melting

Just a thought, but which model is that fitted to?

I seem to remember some of the recent recalls relate to battery cables. Might be worth going to the DVLA website to see if your car is due recall work.

Oh right - but there was no mention of the model in the header or thread, which might have helped!
