A6 Lacquer repair

Hi guys,

On our A6, the lacquer appears to have faded, or have had a bad repair in the past. Not sure what it is exactly. Is there any way to sort this out, other than a full door respray? From the picture, the base layer of paint seems to be fine and it only seems to be something on the surface of the lacquer. Maybe a vigorous T-Cut would sort it?

A bodyshop or detailer may be able to wet sand that for you and then polish it back up.

Hard to capture in the pictures, but will take it up with a detailer. Thanks for the replies.

Or, has had the clear polished through...

Or it's had a (poorly done) smart repair there.
