Panther Kallista wire wheel conversion

Hi, My Panther Kallista is fitted with the front suspension from a Cortina Mk4/5. I would like to fit wire wheels using the bolt on spline adaptor kits as sold on E bay which have the regular Ford wheel nut PCD.
Is it OK to use either MG B 14" wires or perhaps the MG Midget 13" wires and still keep within the correct off set and back spacing. I know you can buy bolt on wires from MWS but at a price!
The MG wires seem a more economic option and have the correct splines and spinner threads.
Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

Hi, I think you have misunderstood me. I'm trying to look at the suitability of the MG wheels.
The bolt on splined adaptors have the correct Ford 108mm PCD so will fit OK. These adaptors give you the correct splines to accept conventional MG spined type wire wheels and spinners.
My query is relating to the wheel off set/back spacing effect on the front steering/suspension.

A Panther Kallista is a pretty rear and specialist car so unlikely there'll be many people who know the immediate answers but as a start you can easily measure the offset of your existing wheels (look on the internet of your not sure how but your only need a straightedge and a ruler). Then I am sure you can ask the manufacturer of the adaptor how much that will add to the offset of the wheels. Finally, again, on the internet there must be an MG forum where someone will know the offset of a standard MGB 14" wire wheel. Then with a bit of paper you can work out if it will work for you.
Please dont think I'm being rude... But as others have said, just join The Panther Car Club. As 99.9% of whatever you are/might think of doing to your Kallista, has already been done, that includes wire wheels. The club has an archive for members to access tech info. The PCC is a worldwide friendship based club, with lots of area groups in the UK and beyond.
You could even get lucky by placing an Ad for wires, someone may have a used set !
Beware cheap hub adaptors, they can be no better than a pipe flange with the spline welded to it !!!! ReputableReputable wheel suppliers make the adaptors from solid. Your life, and others, are worth it.

I did visit the Panther stand at the Bristol Classic Car Show a couple of years ago but was put off by some of the members I met who manned the stand. They appeared not very friendly, a bit boastful about their own cars and not to keen to give any helpful advice.
Perhaps I am a bit judgemental but I have helped my friend to restore a Cortina Mk2 and their club members were extremely helpful and more friendly bunch plus helped source parts needed to complete the restoration.
I appreciate your advice on bolt on adaptors. Out of interest which splined wheels did you use and where did you source your adaptors?
I did price up a set of 5 bolt-on wire wheels from MWS but the price was "eye watering". My thoughts were to go with bolt on adaptors and a deal on MG Midget (13") or MG B (14") tyres/wheels.
I will investigate PCC membership and sign up for a year to see if it is my scene.

I did drive a Morgan before I bought the Panther and would have loved to buy one but they can be a bit expensive even for an old one.
Yes perhaps the Panther is a "poor mans" Morgan but then for the relatively small outlay, the sheer fun the car has given me I feel that I couldn't have bought half of a tatty Morgan for the same money.
I like the earlier TVR's (Tuscan/Vixen) but they are now rare and expensive.
