Good morning all I have purchased a new set of wheels for my v8v they are the same wheels as fitted to the vantage s and n430 models so I am now looking for tyres in sizes 245/40/19 and 285/35/19 could anyone recommend a preferred brand I should go for I am thinking of using Black Circles as they offer a home fit service ( I can keep an eye on the fitting process ) thanks in advance Bill.

In that size I think you’re limited to OE Bridgestone, continental or Yokohama.

I use Camskill and get them fitted locally by an independent

I fitted some Conti's (latest sport contact, can't remember the number!) and have been impressed with them, way better than the OEM Bridgestones. The grip levels are on par with the Michelin PS4S (which you can't get in the correct size) but internet research says the Conti's don't last as long.

yes, the Conti SportContact 6 are highly recommended and available in the sizes for the Vantage V8S.

I have Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's on my V8VS. Or is it Supersports? I'll run out and check later and post back. Either way, I like the tyres.

EDIT: I've got Michelin super sports 245/40/19 up front and 285/35/19 on the rears.

EDIT2: According to Michelin customer care UK, the Supersports aren't made any more in the front tyre size (245). In fact, they said for the wheels on the Vantage S, there is currently no tyre model they produce that would make a complete set for the vehicle. When mine are due replacing I'll probably consider Conti or Goodyear. They've always been good in the past for me on other cars.
