Poor chap, gets to almost 40 years old, leave home, finds his parents have binned his porn collection. Either that or somewhere in America the bushes are full for a new generation.

Is hedge porn still a thing, or did the internet help finish it off ?

Maybe this is just me, but when I moved out of my parents home. Anything less suitable was removed by myself personally before hand. I didn't just leave it for them to find!

The richest 13yr old at my school was the lad whose Dad owned a newsagent.

Mark sold sections of mags for 50p a shot when the full mag was £1.80 - £2.50. He'd get 10 or 15 sections from a mag. Genius.

Unlike dumb Stan here. Bought the mags full price. Took home. Made extra hidden shelf in 'Contiboard' (does that still exist) storage unit my dad had built in the early 1980s in my bedroom for my airfix models and school books etc. Suspect I even dried out and ironed out some hedge porn from particularly good magazines.

Parents downsized last year. My sister still lived at home and was moving with them. She remembered I'd told her there was a hidden shelf. She found shelf. Got pron out. Couldn't get porn back in and grassed a middle aged man up to his retired parents of 30 yr old vintage porn!!!!! That was an interesting Sunday lunch!

In a similar vein, I was listening to the Beastie Boys classic "Fight for your Right" as played by "DJ Silly Boi" (Shudders)

But its an epic track, but one line troubles me,

"Now your mom threw away your best porno mag"

So, was this chance, she found a porn mag, and pitched it in the bin and it just happened to be his favourite ?

Or, was it a vindictive move, she made a point of throwing away the best one, did she sit there and peruse the whole collection and decide which would be his favourite ?

Had this been discussed ?

Was she aware of his tastes ?

Was it based on the condition ?

I had a similar thought about the Bangles Manic Monday "Blame it on the Train but the bus is already there", surely the train and Bus timetables, routes etc are entirely independent ?

I always thought it was "the Boss is already there" which would make more sense (I think)

I was about 13 and bought my first porno mag and was bringing it in to school, some clown threatened to tell the teacher I had it in my bag. I thought I'd be clever and hide it in a hedge by the school. Went back to it at the end of the day, it was gone. This was circa 2002/2003.

So I'd like to think I helped contribute to hedge porn in it's dying days.

Of course, that's as long as you're on about that hedge. And not any other sort of fetish?

There was nothing worse than finding a porn mag and then flicking through and finding all the stuck pages.

Since the days of your hedge porn, there has been an outbreak of topiary. Thickets have been replaced by Bonsai, or grubbed out entirely.

When l were a lad our local trendy barbers (loud music, big sofas, young scantily clad assistants) used to have a pile of porn mags on the table to read while you were waiting. We were all too embarrassed to look at them in the shop, but we soon worked out where his bin store was and every month we would raid them for the latest mags. He always used to pile them up under cover too, as if he knew he was providing a vital service to the local youth laugh

I used to do a paper round in the mid eighties. It was amazing how much longer the round took on the two days per month when one dirty old bugger had Razzle and Fiesta delivered! hehe

I sometimes wonder how much longer after I stopped the newsagent carried on getting teenage boys to deliver porn! smile

You never found your mum in a readers wives section then? Lying cow said she was from Port Talbot in the caption too.

Sometimes you even found VHS tape porn in the hedge - it was like discovering a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow cloud9

Better than the magazines, which were often like discovering a pot of porridge...

Every time you say you don't believe a porn fairy dies.
