I bought a brand new cbr650f back in September which has a matte paint finish which I love but somehow my right knee is scratching the paint.

I don't get how as my bike trousers have nothing in that area that I can possibly see damaging it.

I need to get something to protect it from getting any worse but everywhere I've found only comes from China and I don't want to wait 2 or 3 weeks for delivery.

Google doesn't seem to bring anything up so not sure if im searching for the right thing.
This is what I'm after.

Anywhere in the UK sell these?

Look for stomp grip. There might not be specific ones for your bike but I’ve always got the closest I could find and cut them to size.

Do you wheel the bike backwards, whilst standing to the side? Could it be the zip catching on the tank?
I had this exact conversation with a colleague and it was a zip on his jacket as he did just that

It's definitely not that as its exactly where my right knee goes.
I'm guessing it the mesh patch on my knee that gets all bunched up when my knee is bent but it's very soft with no obvious points or sharp edges.

Modern paints are pretty soft, doesn't surprise the matt finish is suffering... Helicopter tape might be an alternative if you can't find one of the traditional pads.

always get a paint protection film kit for the tank from around £40 or the whole bike from around £90

not difficult to put on as long as the area is clean
