What engine transplants fit?

Anything fits with a big enough wallet/enough skill.
Not so as I’m led to believe, for example, LS engines will fit within the Cerbera frame but only with a manual gearbox. There is a standard supercharged 335 k/w Ford engine in some cars here as well as some tasty other Ford exotica!

Im seriously wondering whether any will fit! Manual ‘box of course.

I think you mean a 302.. Which would be the 5.0 engine in it's various guises..

260? Eh? What engine is this?!

If you have the aforementioned skill/wallet size you just move anything in the way..

The 260 is an Aussie engine, I believe, and the 260 is kilowatts - c. 350 bhp.I think you mean a 302. Which would be the 5.0 engine in it's various guises..
IIRC, it's DOHC, so would it be too wide for a TVR?

Hi All,
Just wondering whether a Ford BOSS 360 engine (V8) plus auto box will fit a Cerb? Obviously many of the Chevy LS engines fit plus the recent Maserati 3.2 but I wonder what others will fit also?
Thanks.
Would you mind me asking more details about that maserati 3.2 ?Just wondering whether a Ford BOSS 360 engine (V8) plus auto box will fit a Cerb? Obviously many of the Chevy LS engines fit plus the recent Maserati 3.2 but I wonder what others will fit also?

Ah.. That would explain why I've never heard of it.. Why fit a less powerful engine in a Cerb though?!
I would certainly consider fitting an RV8, as long as the exhaust manifolds could be fabricated without too much expenseThe rationale would be that I wanted to keep using the car while th AJP8 was being fixed (whether or not that were actually true)
Maserati 3.2 - isn’t that one yours Giorgio (sounds like I messed up)!
An RV8? Surely that is a major step backwards. I’m not going to transplant and then put the AJP back again!
An LS/ Ford can be tuned easily. Etc
Just want people’s opinion as not 100% but really starting to grate. I don’t want to start an argument as I appreciate the original guys.

If any engine transplant is the way you are going to go then I can see no reason to put anything over than a high powered LS? Been done before and are reliable as a road engine.
Unless you just want something different to be different? In which case I would be looking at a Gibson (Zytec) lump
