right at the top of the shock is a loop with a bolt hole through it .I need to know the measurement/dimensions from the centre of the bolt hole to the top of the shock loop and also the width of the same loop as in the picture

do you happen to have the part numbers for your kit as I would prefer to source them from somewhere other than Jeal as it maybe be cheaper to source them from spax direct if I have the part numbers. What spring rates are you running front and rear

My kit was a Mov-it kit fitted around 4 years ago,ime not happy with the kit as it has adjustment on the spring height but not the shock and want to replace it with Spax,i think Joe aka zr1368 has spax on his ZR-1,if your looking into prices maybe we can get some sort of group purchase going to get the price down?.

On my 90 ZR-1 there is no loop,it is just a thread that goes into a mount with a bush either side of the mount, this is on the front and rear shocks.

Hello chaps!

Just a word of warning, I used to have Spax on an older lower (much) performance car, and heard quite a bit about them for minis and Capris - on these applications, despite being adjustable they were always a bit on the hard side, and never a match for even relatively stock Bilsteins or Koni's. Just some feedback that may be of use/ignored!

Good luck with the new ones, whichever you get.

Point taken Fran, ive since spoken with Joe and he doesnt rate them either but reckons the Carrera shocks are worth a look.
