Hello all, I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find a thread for the specific problem.
I went for a drive today and briefly stopped, when I went to start the car again all the electrics came on and the starter button glowed red, but nothing happened when I pressed it to start, I did try the battery reset button under the rear seat.
There are no error signs on the dash and a break down man (not Aston) did come to try and jump start it, but to no avail.
Any ideas? It's a 54 plate.

Thanks in advance,
James

Might be the switch in the brake pedal that tells the ignition sequence that you have the pedal pressed. I think one or two have had that. Just a suggestion

Thanks for the pointer, but no luck.
It's with Chiltern Aston now, so hopefully nothing too serious.

I dont need to depress my DB9 brake pedal to start it! Is that only required on manual transmission cars?

Either something is wrong, or you do it instinctively and don't realize it!
