Family want to go to Alton Towers this Saturday so thought i would drop them off then head to Oulton Park.
Any tips on where to stand/sit ?. My local track is Brands and I tend to buy a Paddock Hill seat, plus have a good old wander around (mostly only the Indy circuit). Am not a photographer so just there to watch whats going on. Have never ventured further north than Silverstone for a race meeting so into new territory !
Thanks

Get your walking boots on! You can walk the entire track between the infield and outside of the track! Druids/ lodge/ dears leap are my favourite sections but you can see loads if you head down to cascades then cross the footbridge over to knickerbrook too

And keep going past knickerbrook all the way to the hairpin, one of the best viewing tracks in the land, I'll be there Saturday, but can't make Monday (no track action on Sunday)

Or walk the inside from Cascades up Clay Hill to the inside of Druids, a very fast double (triple?) apex bumpy right hander.

Cascades is a good choice as you can see a lot of the circuit, Dentons through Cascades, down Lakeside to Island Bend, then as they come back over Hill Top through Knickerbrook and up Clay Hill.

Been going to Oulton Park for over 40 years, and watched everywhere from Old Hall, the Avenue, Cascades, the new(ish) chicane, Hill Top, Knickerbrook, Clay Hill, Druids, Lodge and Dear Leap. Wherever you choose, you're close to the action and it feels fast.

Like Brands Hatch there is lots of places to watch from, walk about. Action happens all over the place.

Deer (not Dear !) Leap is a must as it is one of the few places left in UK motorsport where the cars are nearly in touching distance .

Will be heading there on Monday. Will probably spend the day mostly around Knickerbrook as have found that a good spot on past visits.

As others have suggested though plenty of space to be walking around the track and viewing from different areas.

Lovely parkland circuit, plenty of good viewing spots, and great way to get fresh air and exercise on a sunny weekend.Hope the racing is good.
