Looking for some guidance on what kind of deals I could expect on a new highly spec'd M2 Competition - if anyone has any experiences to share then they would be greatly appreciated! Anything had on the regular M2 would also probably be relevant. DM me if preferred!

5% is usually available but didn't get much off mine at all.

Spec up on coast2coast and with no options it’s 4%

I’ve found that website incredibly helpful, they got me £11k off my M140i, more than the great deals TRL offer.

I got 5% off in October last year when they were new, so I would have thought more would be available now?

Most dealer's offered zilch and brokers, but Cooper York did the deal...

I was heading on to ask the very same question about discounts to aim for when I start looking at deals on a new M2 Competition.

Any recommendations are welcome here or via PM and distance purchasing is not an issue for me either so I’d be happy to buy anywhere in the UK if the price was right.

All the M2 's in Swindon/Hungerford BMW Dick Lovett have sold since last weekend (6) went to have a look as I have pressed button on lease and they were none to see! Sales guy had a look at Bristol branch and they had sold out too.

I used auto-ebid and carwow to get a dozen dealers offering competing deals and took it from there.

Also called a couple of local dealers, who were ste.

Just get your spec sorted 100% BEFORE you start the process.

Ended up buying from York (150 miles away) and they trailered it to me with a full tank. Never went to the dealers at all. No need. Did all the paperwork by email.

Although even less local for me, I’m actually talking to Tom (who I believe you dealt with) at the dealership in York about what kind of deal he can do on an M2 Competition.

I’ve also had a 4% discount offered by Sytner without any haggling or pressure.

As per the usual norm, my local dealerships weren’t interested in discussing any form of discount with me. I don’t think is a great approach to take, although if they’re shifting cars at 0% discount then I guess I can understand it from a business point of view... however at some point I’ll stop bothering to contact them and just assume that they’ll not be willing to negotiate.

I've just ordered an M2C from Cooper Croydon, factory build with just over 10% discount on the list price. I found a few dealers who were very willing to match this after shopping around.

just having a cursory look into PCP. Is £577 deposit, £577 a month/48 months/8k a decent deal for the base spec M2 comp?

Less than £20 per day to run around in an M2C sounds decent enough.
