Shoei GT Air D-ring

Just bought a GTAir. Really happy with it however when doing up the D ring the button fastener is right on the top of the left chin strap close to the helmet. Takes me quite a bit of faffing around to do it up. Anyone with the same problem? Or maybe fault on mine?

Had one a couple of weeks, struggled the first few times now don't notice.

Also just got a gt air, the popper position was a bit odd at first, used to it now though.

Never struggled with it. All helmets have their short lived oddities.

It's a bit fidgety at first but you soon get used to it. The popper then becomes the hard bit.

As said above really. I have similar Shoei model & yep the popper stud is a bit awkward. Def tricky if you try with gloves on so forget that ! Otherwise great helmet, comfy, light, good vents with anti fog inner visor thing & quieter than many. Wouldn't do without the internal drop down sun visor ever again too. Had a couple of issues with the slide to activate the sun visor, once under guarantee & once just outside of it, but service from Feridax via local dealer was excellent.
