Hi,
my 1983 280i FHC needs the part that connects the key turning mechanism to the locking mechanism.
The drivers door locks using the pull up / push down pin when closing the door and opens by leaning over from the passenger side to lift the pull up /push down pin.
If its not too late and the door handles are complete and available I am very interested.

Rear hubs...stub axles...diff and cradle...half shafts...wishbones..tie-bars and drop links....all rare stuff now...oh and the steering rack....tanks...rear lights..Badges..driving lights...pod motors....door stops and strikers...seats?
Actually what are the springs in the boot?...if they are front springs I will have them....

I haven't looked behind the door trim but I'm told that there is a lug type (possibly plastic) connector that is attached to the 'back' of the lock, when the key turns this moves the 'door pin' and locks the door.
The pin operates the lock, just not the key , although the key does turn both ways in the lock.
I'm currently recovering from knee surgery so not able to take a look and possibly photo it.
