What’s a good £30k performance car that can be used as a daily driver. Upto 10 years old. Either 4wd or rwd

Of something that *can* be used as a daily if needed?

Had an xfr, then a 997.2 911S and now a Golf R.

So kind of in my “zone”. Each different, each brilliant.

Recommendation - golf cheapest, Porsche most expensive, Jaguar most niggles.
Porsche to remember, golf for rapid hassle free transport, Jaguar for the rumble...

I’d guess with such broad requirements, running costs will be the deciding factor in narrowing it down. For a similar budget, I picked a new M140 which has reasonable performance as well as wallet friendly running costs for a daily.

Similar for us. We just bought a new M140i. Amazing VFM if someone is looking for a brand new car.

As the O/P doesnt seem that bothered about new or close to new, i think a C63 would make an amazing DD.

A mustang S550 falls in this category, reasonable size boot, RWD, great soundtrack, great fun, turns heads and can seat 4 adults while giving you 30mpg on a run for the 5.0 V8.
