On a 2010 model V12 vantage should it tell you what gear ure in on the dash?it comes up reverse but that's it

Hi joinery80

There is no gear indicator display on the original six speed V12V. You will see a red “R” when reverse is engaged, and in the same part of the display, three red change up bars will pop up when you are near the top of the rev band. As far as I know, the gear indicator display is only in the V12VS seven speed cars, both SS3 and manual (happy to be corrected if that’s wrong though).
