Just purchased a Noble, collecting on the 1st June, just ready for a blast to Le Mans!, 1st time not in a TVR...

Can anyone recommended someone for Insuring a Noble GTO 2.5, has Chip upgrade & 3R Exhaust, as most insurers looking for standard cars?

Thanks

I had no issues with Tescos / Direct Line (they are the same company) with my upgrades.

Also try
Peart
Natwest

and search for "insurance" on this forum and you'll find loads more!

Both Tesco and Direct Line insist on a Tracker. If the car has'nt got one Peart and Footman James will insure it,but obviously a bit more expensive.

I am insured with MSM (01279 870 535). They do not require tracker and are pretty competitive.

I am getting quotes for Noble now, spoke to MSM about 20 minutes ago, they will only insure a car over £15,000 if it is kept in a garage (I do not have one).

Bell Direct gave me a good quote on my Audi RS6 recently (£725) so went with them. Don't think Tracker req'd either...... Tescos wanted £1200 for renewal.

Try Autotorque. Speak to Chris and tell him Greg Noble recommended you. Won't make a blind bit of difference to your quote but it will to mine

Very good policy being put together at the moment for nobles. IIRC.

Not necessarily ... and they have a rubbish garaging clause which you need to ask them about in advance.

My Dad (Medusa) got a quote today for a Noble, from High Performance Direct in Bristol.

Chap to speak to Dave Oates, found him very helpful & gave a competitive quote.

Cho

Looking at your profile in the week, and seeing the pistonheads badge on rear, guessed it might be your car, if your selling via the TVR centre

Dont worry, it will of gone to a good home. Feel free to drop me an email.

True. Mine's with Tesco. Once fitted the tracker is only £99 a year and I would have thought everyone would want one. We don't want to have to end up having to get a nicked car back by giving a guy an envelope stuffed with cash at some lock-up somewhere (do we, Lee!)

Thanks for all the Contacts. Various quotes between £780 & £1400! £789 without Track day cover or £925 with 4 UK days Track cover (How do these seem to compare?)

How much would you expect to pay per track day if bought on a per day basis?

High Performance - Mid priced, No track day cover
Autotorque - same cover as Comp Car, same insurer but more expensive
Peart - Most expensive, no track day cover
Classic Line - Cheapest quote, includes track day cover......but Garage warranty is hard to live with. (Car must be garaged when not in use, even in the day time !)
