Best mpg green line or ecoboast

Hi guys

I need some advice on getting the best mpg
So far I have looked at the Mondeo ecoboost 1.5 diesel.
And the skoda green line apparently up to 88 mpg

Car needs be a decent family hatch budget ideally no more than 7k

You won't see 88mpg out of the Skoda as for what will give the best MPG will be dependent on your usage & where you live (hilly area etc/A Roads etc) the two below will give you better real world economy than both of the two mentioned above & by having the bigger engine won't feel lack luster when loaded.

If the above doesn't work for you I'd still say go for a 2.0d of both as they're not light cars & those small engines will be working harder pulling the weight around.

Well the hybrids above will give you a real world 65-72mpg & have the advantage of having a drivetrain with a nice amount of torque to, they also put the same drive train in the 508:
