Hi Everyone,

I've managed to get some overspray of Gt-85 onto glass and its created a nice milky film which seems almost impossible to remove.
Does anyone know what will strip it back off again?
I've tried various de-greasers, wd-40, soap/fairy liquid, even wheel cleaner. It just seems to repel all of it.

any help would be gratefully appreciated.

thanks

Have you got any isopropyl alcohol lying around?

ETA I don't know if it will work for GT85 but works for a lot of other things...

Not to hand, but its not too expensive if it works. I guess it needs to be something that can strip or breakdown PTFE.

Tfr ( traffic film remover) and a (hot water) pressure washer.

A good degreaser shouud have worked, is it more than a film of oil on TOP of the glass ?

As far as i'm aware its just the overspray (which i stupidly wiped with a cloth).
I've not tried really hot water, but i assumed PTFE would be quite resilient to this.
I've got a bottle of bug and tar remover, not any specific TFL.

How about one of those scrapers that use a Stanley blade that are used to remove paint from windows? I was also going to suggest IPA.

Dont think a scraper would work as its still quite fluid. Rubbing it with clothes, paper etc moves the smudging about.
