I bought an Audi TTS in January 2019 - it was already stage 1 when I got it and I duly brought it up to stage 2 and had fun with it.

Since then, going from it only being a weekend / gym / pretty boy car. It is now used almost everyday with an occasional jaunt to Manchester from London covering 1500 miles a month or so.

I have tried to use a mixture of train/driving but it is killing me when I make the drives over a long distance, suspension is far too hard and the car keeps wanting to go ‘faster’ so I am thinking of trading it in for something more practical

Looking at the Jaguar XF for reference, current partner has a 3 year old also so insight from anybody who has made the change would be valued (3 year old fits fine atm so isn’t main reason).

What's your budget? Do you have any specific requirements? ie no diesel, newer than 2012, etc?

Something like a 640i for mid-£20ks?

Decent economy (Audi is stage 2 and decent for me considering) better is a bonus but not too fussed
2012 onwards
250 bhp

I think for comfortable cruising the Jaguar XF is pretty hard to beat? 640D is a good shout alas my brother has one!
