Slightly odd one. I ordered an LG phone from well known high street store via their ebay shop. Brand new one etc. I received a different make of phone probably worth half as much as the phone I ordered. I emailed them and told them, no response so opened a return case and sent the item back.
Today I had this from them. I thought selling on ebay was a nightmare.
We have recently received a parcel from yourself under Return Case ID: ***********, inside the parcel was a 'Samsung J3'
Your return case implies you received an incorrect unit, we reached out to you on April 12th to ask what you did receive and as of yet have not received a response.
After a full investigation by our dispatching warehouse it was determined that goods sent out to you via Royal Mail were in fact the LG G6 and not the Samsung J3 returned to us.
The unit you have returned, is not stocked in the dispatching warehouse, and so we can say with 100% certainty that this was not sent in place of the LG.
Can you advise if perhaps you have returned the J3 in error?
We have reached out to eBay and asked for their assistance with Return Case ID: **********
At this time your eBay return case has been placed on hold while eBay review the return/your account.
Should we not receive a response to this email, we will be forced to report this return to the police via an Action Fraud report.

It's put me off buying on there. It used to be a good site years ago. I stopped selling on there about 8 years ago after I ironically sold a phone (iphone 3gs) and the buyer said id sent an empty box. Ebay as usual side with the buyer so i was £150 out of pocket. I phoned action for fraud and the logged it down. Never heard a bean after that.
