Still got the GT3 itch, anyone help me decide
Discussion
Hi Folks
Many years ago I very almost bought a 996.1 GT3 but trading my then 964 C4 just got so difficult with the dealer I didn’t follow through with the purchase and ended up buying a Ferrari instead.
I still have the itch for a GT3 though, mostly because of the widely held affection for them here and all the glowing press reports, but I haven’t been in one for about a decade.
I was wondering if any Midlands based owners wouldn’t mind giving me a ride in one?
I am particularly interested in a 996.2 or 997 either 1 or 2.
If the GT3 really is for me I will then sort the sale of my GTS and be in a position to buy but don’t really want to embark on this merry go round if it isn’t for me.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Ed

You could go to PEC and do the GT experience? I know it's expensive at £995, but it's a half day 'training' and you get to drive three GT3s - 997 GT3, 997 GT3RS and a 991 GT car. If you've not been to PEC before, it's great fun
