Have a custom and warning message comes up with ‘engine malfunction service now’ have change Air Charge Sensor, Tried new MAF sensor, still happening, any constructive ideas?

Check the air filter isn't clogged and that you don't have any leaks in the intake system (you'd hear them with the bonnet up).

Failing that, I suppose it might be a fault on the loom between the MAF sensor and the ECU.

New air filter, it only happens on load from 3rd gear onwards

Have you checked for boost leaks?

Oooh I do love a post with all the relevant info...

Did you use a genuine, known good sensor? Or a pattern as special from ebay?

Checked the wiring /signals to/from the maf?

Inlet air temp sensor working correctly?

Damaged intercooler/pipework leaks?
