Hi there,

I'm trying to be a bit different this year with my stickering up for Le Mans, so I've come up with the idea of sticking my car up to look like a particular prototype race car (I'm keeping the exact name to myself in the hope of surprising a few people!).

Problem is that I can't find the logo stickers I want for sale online. I have looked into getting them made up by a sticker printing company, but I'm concerned that I'm basically "reproducing copyrighted material".

Thoughts? Should I care, given that it's harmless Le Mans fun? Or could someone get pee'd off?

Cheers!
Phil.

There are loads of cars you’ll see at LM that mimic racing car liveries with some being pretty accurate on the detail, including replica “Pink Pig” graphics on 911s. I’ve never been bothered when I’ve snickered my car up FWIW & you can always make some very subtle changes if that helps ease your concern by putting an amusing slant on the original theme.

Op, try contacting the team.

Twice we 've done team liveries and both times the team were happy to send me the .eps files for the logos.

Thanks for your responses.

I contacted the team, and they've given me permission to re-produce :-D
