Later this year I'm relocating to Torbay and will need to find someone to take care of my 996 C4S. Any recommendations?

Old school would be Crispin Manners - Oaktree Garage, Sidmouth, Devon.

Worth going for a chat as Crispen has been looking after Porsches for a long time and I think they do 996s. There is a few in the area as mentioned.

Use them on my 997 Turbo S for anything outside of standard servicing (for the OPC stamps).

I travel from Bristol to them and they are worth the trip

Thanks - they are a sensible distance drive from where I'm moving to - I'll pop in and have a chat with them

This place did the last 3 services on my Boxster. With the previous owner that is, so I have no first hand experience. As mentioned by C4ME, here's their website:

Another vote for SCS here, they did some mechanical restoration work on my 964, and look after my 968. They know their stuff better than most, and normally have a wide range of customer Porsches of all ages from 60s to present day in for work.

Hope to see you around Torbay sometime, we’re just in Teignmouth...
