Recently got a new car and need to get rid of my old one; ep2 type s. Only problem is it's on 180k miles and I have no idea where the best place to sell it considering its worth less than 500 quid. Need to get rid of it pretty quickly as it's taking up drive way space which is needed.

Scrap offered 50 quid but its a perfect for someone handy with spanner. Perfect shed for someone on a budget.

Take it ebay with a honest advert on what works and what doesn't is the way forward?

Autotrader have an option for a free advert for cars under £1k.

If you have a local car auctions you could try them, then you wont have to worry about storage of the vehicle.

Gumtree or one of the local Facebook groups.

How much mot has it got? If it has >6months and runs you should get your £500 easily.

Worked for me in the past, I did auction style for two cars that had major issues and got far more than scrap.

Ditto, just advertised a 160k mile mazda 6 (with the usual wheel arch rust) for £500. Was honest about the problems but also highlighted the full service history and almost perfect interior and overall reliability and it sold within 24 hours for the asking.
