After waiting 12 weeks for a Leon Cupra 300 ST....I still cannot get a delivery date. After reading 11 month horror stories I am pretty much given up that they can deliver in a reasonable time frame. The Leon goes to a new shape with production starting September....so Im put off waiting any longer for the old model.

So....I have £340 per month. My requirements;

Id prefer Audi, VW or BMW

Swish interior with a decent BHP. Im not expecting 300BHP for my budget with a premium brand.... but something with oomph would be nice.

5 Doors (open to suv or hatch).

What I dont want to do is Pay £340 per month and end up with a porper spec....so something which comes with a good base spec, or has room in the budget to add some desirables such as digital dash in.

Would love to know what you guys would go for in the current climate and what deals might be out there.

Cheers

That monthly budget must be enough for some attractive deal on a Golf GTi / Golf R, or BMW 125 or 140??

What about one of the recent A250 deals?

Also do you have a deposit/down payment or is it £340 amortised?

Looking to pay around £1,000 deposit.

The wife is a bit anti Merc but I must admit I quite like the 250s. Are you talking about a lease deal?

I decide to walk in the local Audi dealership yesterday, and I've ended up pulling the trigger this morning on an 2018 Audi A5 Sportback, 190 S-Line.

Taking delivery next week....... choosing a car has been a bit of a painful process with the let downs and ever changing prices......but I'm really pleased this is what I've ended up with.

Cheers for all the help in the forums smile
