Any ideas for the source of a signal converted to map a non-square signal from a coil to a square wave signal (for rpm logging)? I'm using the ZT2 lambda logger and their internal "filters" to do this are not the best.

thumbup just ordered one. I may need to scale the output, but at least it won't be noisy. Thanks

If you'd said you also wanted the ability to give a different pulse count output than input...this will also do the same thing.

Cheers. All I need to do is get the noisy (analogue) coil signal (rpm) feed into something cleaner (square wave) to feed into an AFR vs RPM logger. The *actual* input into the logger isn't too important, as I can see what the input level ("rpm") is when the actual tacho shows 1000 rpm, 2000 rpm, etc and scale the input accordingly.

Still works out a lot cheaper than a day on a dyno (most of whom no longer carry the full complement of jets and tubes for DCOE)!
