Mag Ride - Audi - Worth it?
Discussion
Morning all,
So, just about to hand over my hard earned cash on an 8V Audi RS3 and wanted to know opinions of whether Mag Ride is worth it over other options?
1 - White - Audi Sport pack, sound and comfort pack, gloss black pack, standard seats, no privacy glass
2 - Daytona Grey - RS Exhaust, Super Sport Seats, sound and comfort pack, privacy glass, carbon interior (no mag ride)
I love the grey but is the White spec better?.....aaggghhhh to may options/choices!!
Thanks in advance

I'd have to drive them both to know for sure, but I suspect the better-spec and preferable colour would win me over every time.
The upgraded seats are something that comes in every journey, would switch-mode dampers? I doubt it.
Really good shout. It will be a dailyThe upgraded seats are something that comes in every journey, would switch-mode dampers? I doubt it.
Its a 2018 67 plate that does not have the Mag ride.
You can spec the Exhaust independent of the sports pack.
I assume you're looking at a facelift car?
The mag ride is something you can't really replicate in the aftermarket without spending obscene amounts, so I would go for a car with that personally. The difference in the seats is pretty small, mine has the standard seats and they're more than enough.
I'm not 100% sure what the Audi Sport pack contains? Any idea?
Personally I wouldn't buy a white car, I think the RS3 looks great it most colours but not white. Wait for a spec that works for you.

Thanks for the feedback.
Sport Pack contains the Mag Ride, RS Sports Exhaust and Tyre pressure monitor.
When did the face lift come in? The one I like is a 2018 67 plate.

Even with mag-ride RS3s can be a little jiggly on a broken surface; without it there are occasions where it feels crashy.
Dr G, that is the best word to describe it - Jiggly! When I optioned my RS5 I test drove with and without mag ride and was not a fan..! Also it appears to be problematic across the range..OP - Daytona Grey one sounds nice..
