How's this for exceptional customer service. Three days after my DB9 was delivered from the AM dealer in Cheshire (can I name them on here?) to me in East Sussex the car wouldn't start due to a tired battery. AM Emergency Assist got the car going but it wasn't certain whether it would start again for me to take it to my nearest dealer. So, the Service Manager from the Cheshire dealer drove all the way down to me the following Saturday to fit a new battery. I was told he was going to be down my way anyway for the weekend but I've since learn't his final destination was half way back home in Warwickshire. His partner came with him and was much more understanding than any girlfriend I've ever had.

Separately, what is considered the norm in terms of timescale for when any issues with the car become my responsibility rather than the supplying dealer. My thinking is that faults found by me within the first couple of weeks should be down to the dealer and after that any issues are considered new and down to me (or the Timeless Warranty if covered).

In reference to your last question - I believe the legal position is something like: 'if you buy a second hand car from a dealer, any faults not declared at time of sale are deemed to have existed when you bought it for the first 6 months' or something like that.
