HELP - clear rear lens needed... (Honey I shrank The Car!!!)

I was removing the condensation from from my 07 Vantage rear (clear) light.

After carefully opening it all up, I popped the lens back in the oven at 100C to loosen and remove the adhesive before refitting the lens... while my back was turned, the oven temperature was also turned... UP!

The lens is irredeemably warped and shrunk - but the light cluster itself is all fine,

Can anyone help me urgently source a replacement lens, or failing that a RIGHT HAND (UK DRIVER'S SIDE) clear light, without having to buy the set of two? I'm Brighton based but can collect anywhere in the UK.

Sorry to hear that but know the feeling because I did the same damage when my unit touched the side of the oven,

I have a drivers side clear rear lens that had an intermittent problem with some of the LEDs not working so I replaced it - fully dried out it may well work! - the lens is fine

If its any use to you let me know - I m c 10 miles from Brighton -a small charitable donation will do !

Second hand lights are getting pretty expensive on fleabay lately. Man-maths might justify some nice sequential ones.....

Crap, I wanted to reseal my right tail light too, I have to be extra careful with this oven temperature thing then!

All’s well that ends well BUT yes - not 1 degree above 100C and once the lens is off and you pop it back in to loosen the glue, just a minute or so.

Top-tip: remove the chrome shelf supports and line the oven sides with corrugated card - if the lens touches the side it melts onto it.
