Scottoiler e-System
Discussion
SportsBikeShop, have just price matched the Scottoiler e-system.
I have no vested interest in this other than it was me who requested the price match.
Thought it may be of interest to some on here:

Was only offering it up for those interested...
I do 30K pa and have, for the past 5 years, had a shaft drive bike, so haven't had to worry about chains.
I was looking for a a solution which would minimise chain maintenance.
I agree waste of time if you're a summer 2K rider.
Each to their own.

Best one out there as far as I can see is the Tutoro one, I have one on my bench awaiting fitting.

Can't be arsed with all the blurb sorry, does the e-system negate the need for the vacuum pipe?
This was the problem I had with the Scottoiler, concerns of warranty issues associated with splicing the t-piece. If it negated that I'd be more inclined, but that data addition looks a bit pointless to me as well.
That said even discounted this thing is £200, and a DID chain and sprockets on my bike is £90 and even with poor maintenance would still last a year or two. What a good time to fit a chain and sprocket? About 30-40 minutes?
Appreciate you were posting for the benefit of others, but probably not for me either.

Yes, no need for the vacuum hookup on the e system. This was the problem I had with the Scottoiler, concerns of warranty issues associated with splicing the t-piece. If it negated that I'd be more inclined, but that data addition looks a bit pointless to me as well.
